Repacking/refurbishing/replacement means we use your existing battery pack cases and very carefully open them up. Using a specialized spot welder we reassemble the cell/cells into the original formation, they are then tested with our specialist-programmed equipment. We take great care in opening up the cases and often you cannot tell the difference.
Why repack/recell?
When repacking, where possible we install higher capacity cells which give longer use time between chargers. Our Repacks contain premium quality Japanese cells. Be assured, new cheaper imitations containing unknown cells, will be short on cycle life and poor in overall performance. This is one application where cell quality counts.
If you buy new cheaper imitations, the battery packs could be past their shelf life (much depends on how long they have been in storage in the supply chain), this means they may not be as good as repacking.
